Iterative Subcarrier Allocation Schemes for Multi- user SC-FDMA Uplink Systems

In this paper, the resource allocation problem for multi-user SC-FDMA uplink systems with zero forcing equalizers is investigated. By the use of the equal power allocation, the problem of maximizing the total achievable rate with separate power constraints is transformed to the problem of subcarrier allocation to users. In this paper, iterative subcarrier allocation schemes are proposed to improve the performance compared with the existing heuristic suboptimal algorithm.
